Local American Red Cross Chapter Flooded home, uninhabitable, a charred apartment complex, being devastated by flames.

This is a message sent out from the American Red Cross. In the Past SERVPRO was a Partner with ARC. Now Kevin Frost our Marketing manager is a Disaster Action Team Member with the Local Chapter.

Today their goal is Money how can you help.

A flooded home, uninhabitable. A charred apartment complex, devastated by flames. A frightened family, terrified by tornadoes ripping through the neighborhood. These are the heartbreaking scenes we see every day, all across the country.

And every single day, nearly every 8 minutes, we are there.

Whether its providing shelter, serving a hot meal or connecting families to the resources they need to start rebuilding their lives, our support depends on the generosity of donors like you. Can you help us reach our goal of $25,000 by July 31, so we can be there for families in communities when they need us most?

Ce Class on ETHICS

12/8/2017 (Permalink)

SERVPRO is hosting a Class for you!

Insurance is an ever-changing industry that most normal people just pay for and don't have a good grasp of or simply don't fully understand it completely.  As an Insurance agent, it's your job to educate yourself and your clients on their options and how their policies can be beneficial if and when needed. Although being in a role to teach, and offer financial advice requires you to gain extensive knowledge on your part, and that knowledge must continue to grow if you are to remain successful.

If you are someone who needs Continue Education credits, then I have a treat for you. SERVPRO of North Central Mesa is putting on a course about Ethics. February 8th, 2018. Registration time is 8:30 am the course time will be from 9am-12pm. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided with coffee and Beverages.

We'll be holding this CE at Country Inn & Suites by Carlson 6650 E. Superstition Springs Mesa, AZ 85206. 100% attendance is REQUIRED in order to receive the CE Credit for this course.

If you would like to RESERVE your spot email us at SERVPRO9975@hotmail.com or you can call me directly at (480) 689-7899.

What you'll learn:

The premise of this ethics course is that although we may have solid ethical foundations and usually make rational ethical decisions, ethical lapses are likely to come when we are stressed, angry, upset, worried, or otherwise disengaged.

Each and every day we are faced with decisions that could cause harm to others or ourselves. Facing ethical decisions can be very difficult, especially when we make decisions that may seem correct at first, but we later find out were not so great.

As we explore what "Ethics" is, you'll be challenged to become involved in hourly group activities. The group activities will help reinforce what has been learned, as well as the ability to better deal with ethical decision-making in our lives.

Email or call (480) 689-7899 if you have any questions.

Are you Red Cross Ready?

Red Cross Preparedness bags, sold at participating Safeway. Are you ready?

Everyone needs to be prepared, no matter what city you’re in.

Later this year in October American Red Cross is hosting a Firealarm install walk. We will be walking with friends and family to install Fire alarms for the community.

Luckily you have friends like SERVPRO to come and help out whenever you find yourself in a disaster. Although things can go MUCH smoother if you are prepared and act fast when a disaster strikes.

SERVPRO is also a Partner with the Red Cross. Have you ever thought of being a Volunteer for any organization? How about helping a global non-profit organization.  Check us out and see what you can do to help.

If you feel the need to get in contact with the American Red Cross they have a variety of places you can get in contact with. They have locations all over the world, but they are not in every single city. They are 100's of cities in every state, and every country has a lot of states. So you could imagine how much help they could use from around the world. Anything and everything could be helpful at this point for the American Redcross. From blood, money, even just some of your time on the weekends.

There are all different kinds of disasters, depending on where you live you’ll an increased chance of having more disasters. Just like the state like Arizona, where we don’t have an ocean boarding our state, there are still chances of the flood, and other natural disasters. In areas that are hot, like how Arizona is, It’s important to be ready for anything. Having water on hand is KEY to staying hydrated and staying alive in disaster scenarios.

If you would like to donate any bottled water, you can contact us at (480) 553-7103 and we’ll take care of it for you.
